• Alignment: Now fully based on PMBOK 8th Edition
  
• Domain weightings: Business Environment increased from 8% to 26%; People decreased from 42% to 33%; Process from 50% to 41%
  
• New focus areas: AI, sustainability, value delivery, Agile/hybrid emphasis
  
• Format: Still 180 questions, 240 minutes; new question formats introduced

If you are preparing now, you are studying for the July 9, 2026 exam version. There is no “old” exam after that date . PMI’s official site confirms this as the official launch date for the refreshed PMP exam
